So I've got a bit of a tight schedule tomorrow and I need to get my car sorted without it eating up my whole day, because I've got back-to-back meetings in the morning and then I need to pick up the kids from school in the afternoon. My front brakes have been making this weird grinding noise for the past couple of days and I can tell they're pretty worn down just by looking at them through the wheel spokes, so I know I can't push it much longer. I remember once I waited nearly three hours at a place in Karama for what they said would be quick, and I really don't want a repeat of that fiasco. I've noticed a few workshops around Al Safa that advertise quick turnaround times, but I'm always skeptical about those promises because in my experience, they either overestimate or underestimate just to get you in the door. I'm leaning towards finding a spot that specializes in brake pad change in Al Safa since they'd probably have the right parts in stock and wouldn't waste time running around looking for compatible pads for my SUV.
