My A6's transmission is perfect but the sport mode feels too aggressive - any way to tone it down?

So I've had my 2016 A6 3.0 TDI for a couple of years now and honestly it's been one of the most reliable cars I've ever owned. The ZF 8-speed transmission is smooth and responsive in normal drive mode, and I've never had any mechanical issues with it at all. But there's one thing that's been bothering me lately and I'm wondering if there's a way to adjust it. When I switch to sport mode, the transmission becomes way too aggressive for my taste, holding gears until redline and downshifting so early that the car always feels like it's revving too high. I understand it's supposed to be sporty, but it feels like it's trying too hard and it makes the car jerky and unpleasant to drive in stop-start traffic. I end up just using the paddles in manual mode when I want a bit more response, which defeats the purpose of having a sport mode. I've been reading about transmission adaptations and I'm wondering if there's a way to reset or recalibrate the sport mode behavior to make it less aggressive while still keeping some of the responsiveness. I found a place that offers Affordable Audi automatic transmission service near Musaffah and I'm thinking maybe they could help with a software adjustment or adaptation reset. Has anyone else found the sport mode too aggressive on their A6, and were you able to do anything to tone it down? I'd love to use sport mode more often but right now it's just too much for daily driving. Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who's dealt with this.
